Senior Engineering Consultant - Planning
Aureco Engineering occasionally works with experienced Senior Engineering Consultants who can support planning advisory assignments for infrastructure clients. The role focuses on feasibility review, construction planning, site assessment, quantity review, and client-ready reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead scope review, site assessment, quantity checks, and planning-note preparation for active assignments.
- Develop practical recommendations for construction sequencing, facility maintenance priorities, and handover readiness.
- Collaborate with owners, contractors, survey specialists, and planning teams on project scope and constructability review.
- Evaluate delivery planning opportunities including resource coordination and optimisation.
- Prepare and present technical reports, work package performance reviews, and annual project reviews.
- Coordinate third-party inputs, site records, and contractor information needed for review.
- Ensure all activities comply with Aureco Engineering site safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support project scope review, quantity checks, field planning notes, and client-ready reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, construction management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of engineering consulting, construction planning, or site review experience.
- Proficiency in engineering review software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, and quantity control tools).
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, site constraints, facility systems, and project documentation.
- Experience with integrated project modelling and delivery forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional registration or relevant engineering certification preferred.
